Pine needle basket has word on it I cant seem to get a handle on?

we have a vintage pine needle basket there is tape on the back the writiting is old we can make out the pine needle part but there is a word we cant seem to recognize.. I am thinking this is a native american pine basket and the word we can't seem to make out looks like "Aeretas" anyone have a clue 10 fast points to who does .. Thanks in advance it will be very helpful if someone can answer this

First of all , what kind of tape, Cloth???. Secondly, could it be the name of the maker, like their Indian name? I'm not relly sure, just a couple of SWAG guesses.
