I'm not sure what it exactly is I know its some sort of a pine tree....my daughter brought them home from school and they never sent us anything on how to care for it. If they die she is going to be devistated
I just planted two little pine trees....How do I care for them such as how much water a day?
just water them everyday...they dont really need ferterlising as they are conifers...they pretty tough the old pines they be right
Reply:Don't over water them because if you do they will become over dependant and need to be watered more than it would if you just water it once a week. you only need to water it if the soil is really dry, if the soil isn't dry then there is no need to water it (even if it's just damp).
Reply:With three daughters...we have been there/done that 3 times. I can tell you that we have none that lived...but call your local landscape/gardening shop and ask them the best techniques for your area...and good luck.
Reply:Water enough to dampen then soil to a depth of 1 inch. Water every day. You might want to put something around them so they aren't accidentally stepped on. Be sure to space them because pine trees won't remain small forever. Good Luck.
Reply:you need to put a gallon of water on them for about two weeks to help get the roots set. Then water again is you hit a dry spell. By next year you shouldn't have to fool with them.
Reply:Put some compost into the soil around the trees to give them nourishment. You shoudn't need to water them unless you live in a really dry area (uk or usa?)
Reply:Rat poison works wonderfully...
Reply:methalated spirits does the trick, and some rat poision
Reply:watter around the root until its gets damped and sokes in, twice a day would do..
