What color walls with pine floors and ceilings?

I just purchased a home and it has pine floors and pine tongue ang groove ceilings. Im not sure what to paint the kitchen, i have white appliances and a nice green circle rug with splatters of white in it that i can use in there. The counters are white and the cupboards are pine also. I hate cooking and putting dark colors in there almost make me think it will be depressing.

You could always go with a sage/moss colored green. Ties in really well with pine and the green will help ground all the white and lighter colors in home.
Reply:any light color,
Reply:There's nothing wrong with fresh WHITE walls, especially since it will contrast nicely with the floor and ceiling....your kitchen will always look clean and inviting. (option: I personally love the vintage look of white wainscoting, which would look good with the pine, but it all depends on your taste and budget! You can get white wainscoting panels at any home improvement store like Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.)

You can add fun accessories (in any color) that you absolutely LOVE and you will find that your kitchen is where you want to be the most. You may even want to play up the fact that you don't like to cook with humorous reminders all around. ( As a fellow hater of cooking, I understand the pressure in the kitchen of having to cook good meals.) Something that has helped me has been to have a special place for a cookbook that is out on display. It gives me inspiration on a day that I HAVE to cook and I tend to look through it for recipes more often. I have to admit it, I even enjoy cooking a little bit more when it tastes better!

Your new kitchen and your new home evolve over time into a reflection of who you are. Make it personal, not something everyone else thinks it should be. Best wishes!

No, I'm not kidding. Blue %26amp; green are hot colors for the kitchen right now, per HGTV's "Spice Up My Kitchen." Check out these makeovers that they did with a blue color scheme:
