Can you use Pine-Sol in a pottpouri burner?

I know someone who puts pine-sol in one of the plug in pottpouri burners and lets the fragrance fill the house. There house always smells like it was just cleaned. They say there is no harm in doing that, and I cant seem to find online if there could be any harm in it. Is the vapors that the pine-sol lets off when it is warmed in a pottpouri burner harmful to you health?

no pine sol contains harmful chemicals
Reply:I would not be so worried about the vapors as to the flamability of this household product. Your friend might be wiser to dilute the pinesol and spritz it through the house like an air freshener. Or, heat a pot of water to boil, take it off the flame, then add the PS and allow the steam to float through the house.

Also there are other alternatives, she could buy pine scented candles, and room sprays at the dollar stores, very cheap after the holidays, and use them all year long.
Reply:I wouldn't risk it..I like to put water and lemon juice or orange juice in mine.I only use it from fresh squeezed..still smells very clean and fragrant..or water and cloves too..
Reply:well i personally think its ok to do it but i think i wouldnt do it so often i mean IT CAN BE DANGEROUS but i dont know
Reply:Sure can, I'v used about everything in then.
Reply:I use Hallmark scented tarts in mine, smell better than pine-sol.
