Pine Cone sap................how to remove?

We have a swing in our backyard on our Pine tree. Never had a problem with the sap until this year. The sap is all over the swing and my 2 year old cannot use it, how can we remove it? I tried warm soapy water...............no luck.

Pine Cone sap................how to remove?
My husband raises christmas trees and when he shears the trees he uses alcohol to clean his knives. Also takes it off his hands and arms. Hopefully this helps.
Reply:LACQUER THINNER OR PAINT REMOVER.......ALSO WALMART HAS A PRODUCT CALLED OOPS, IT IS REALLY GOOD
Reply:Goo B Gone works wonders along one of those prespproved credit cards you get in the mail. To keep it from sticking, next time...try giving your swingset a coat of turtle wax. If you catch it before it dries then it should wipe of pretty easily with a hot rag.
Reply:This also might work for your swing.....=)

Tree Sap Removal from Wood Deck

First, check your deck for any loose boards or nails that might need hammering back into place.

Then clean the tree sap off using mineral spirits. Rinse very well, then follow with an all-purpose cleaner and water. Rinse well.
Reply:pine sap has set im the metal will probably take a strong cleaner ask your hardware store dealer
