My husband and I are moving to Alabama and I have never been there. Were moving to Pine Apple, Alabama (pop. 145) SUPER small. I am not what you would call a "country girl". I like the city and being around danger because it fits my personality and style. But, his family live there so i agreed to go (i've also never met his family, they dont get out much) SO my question to you is does anyone know anything to DO in Pine Apple, Alabama or near the surrounding areas? I would really appreciate it were moving in about a month! Thanx :)

You are about 2 hours from the Gulf of Mexico, so you can go to the beach at Gulf Shores, or about 20 minutes to the east from Gulf Shores you will be in Florida. You are in Jimmy Buffet country. Enjoy!

Reply:I have driven through that place, it is kinda rural, or was.It is close to Dothan and Montgomery and Georgia. People do the same there as most do around the world, eat,sleep and party or work in between.
Allways remember, no matter where or how far you go, there you are. Bring a towel, and allways wear sunscreen.
