Lots of pine cones in my yard! I want to make a?

pretty wreath with them. Anyone with ideas or instructions on how to make one? These are not the short round ones, they are the oblong pine cones.

There is a wreath frame (wire) that I have in my garage that I plan on doing the same thing with. I took the greenery off after it dried out. Wrap thin wire in a loop around the base of the pine cone and then attach by wrapping it to the frame. There are a lot of options to makie it pretty. Have fun. I know this is an exchange area and I am taking some hints from the other answers as well.

Have fun.
Reply:I use hot glue gun to stick florist wire to the cones or tie the wire around in the cone. Hot glue is easier!! Hides the wires better

then you can use foam forms, wire forms, grapevine forms, straw forms, etc to attach your cones, other flowers, bows etc on to the forms.

I also use the florist wire to make the hanging loop to hang these thingys on the doors.
Reply:you can either get a wire wreath frame and put them on with a thin peice of wire or if you get a wood frame you can just glue them on. then you can put a bow or beads and i think that`ll look great!
