i paint pine cones with spray paint. how would i get the cinnamon smell on the pine cones after i paint them? someone had a answer to someone's question about getting the cinnamon smell into the pine cone by putting them in a plastic bag with cinnamon and wait? cinnamon what? the sticks? and how long do you wait?

You can try a Cinnamon oil but be so careful not to get it on your skin or eyes.
If you do get it on you, wipe with a cotton ball with cooking oil on it.Remember, water and oil do not mix.

Reply:Craft stores should carry a cinnamon oil. I know they have a pine oil to put on pine cones during the Christmas season. I don't think cinnamon sticks are going to work.
